Creating a Sort List from an Imported Group

A group built in a third party protocol can be used directly as a Sort list in AfiFarm. Loading the exported group file removes the need to select each cow manually and ensures the animals match the third party group exactly.

To create a draft from an imported group:

1. Create the group in the third party protocol, then export the .CSV to the host PC.

2. In the Shortcuts tab, click Data Entry. In the Find column, search for Code and double-click it.

   

3. In the Select Animals dialog that opens. At the bottom right, click Load From File.

   

4. Navigate to the save .CSV file.

   

5. Click All >> to move all the cows at once into the Selected Animals box. Click OK.

   

6. Select the code for the Sort direction required, click OK.

   

7. Select the date and session number, add a comment from the drop-down list if required, then click Save.
